Fish oil is a yellow or brown liquid with characteristic fishy smell. It's obtained from the liquid phase under decantation and centrifugation steps during the process of preparation of fish meal.
Fish oil is stored at room temperature in metal tanks and can have a time duration of approximately one year.
It is used in feed formulations for shrimp, paint industry, in food industry (oils, margarine), and has even extended its use in dietary supplements because of their high content of omega-3 fatty acids.
